Job Description

Excellent job opportunity for all IT engineers in a firm named HCL Technologies for Software Engineer position. The IT professionals must have good knowledge of C programming language and should forward all the softwares developed on C programming language. You will be involved in developing a solid and high quality code for L2 and L3 protocols. The codes will be developed for MSER, BRAS and L2/L3 edge routers. The IT engineers must be able to handle difficult and complex situations by consulting with their teammates as well as other teams. You will have to work on IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VPLS, L2/L3 VPN, IEEE 802.1*, 802.3*, PPP, L2TP and bridging protocol paths. You will have to interact regarding various issues forwarding services such as: QoS, classification, etc., infrastructure, traffic management and next-generation forwarding teams. You will also be involved in  IPRAN, MSER, MPBN, BRAS, and EPC solutions when the firm needs and will be involved in  platform, control plane, and system software teams, as and when required by the firm. You should also understand the client's requirements and convert these into engineering requirements and supply advanced solutions to the clients. Should be eager and curious to learn new technologies related to emerging gateway and packet technologies. Must give presentations on various new technologies to other engineers and also discuss about various new technologies as well. You should have independent nature and work independently in the firm as well and make products and work on various technologies. The job location is Bangalore. You should have 5 to 7 years of experience in relevant field.

Skills Required:

1. B.Tech in IT/CS

2. Knowledge of packet forwarding and network processors(NPU) example: C Port, IXP, MIPS etc.

3. 5 to 7 years of experience

4. Must have deep knowledge of protocols such as:TCP/IP and data networking
